Southold Town Highway Department Spring Cleanup 2022 has been completed in its entirety. Please do not place any additional materials at the curb as the Highway crews will not be returning for additional removal. The next Highway Department cleanup program will take place in the fall when bagged leaves only will be removed, date to be announced later this year.

The Highway Department will be resuming our full maintenance and improvement schedule. Please remain alert and aware while traveling as you may encounter the crews while they are street sweeping, roadside mowing, installing signage, performing tree work, road cleanup, drainage, paving, line striping / painting and a variety of other tasks. Please obey the speed limit, drive slowly and be alert, the safety of everyone is the highest priority!
