Otterly Fun Card Set Project for Tweens For ages 10 to 16 with Lisa Tettelbach

Attention Tweens! Create your own greeting cards and a pretty place to keep them safe (until you use them) with this card set project. For the first session of this 2-day creative project, participants will decorate a 4 1/2 by 6 inch white jewelry card box with a selection of beautiful embel-lishments to personalize it just for you. The second session will focus on making 4 adora-ble Sea Otters cards with envelopes, floating on the calm ocean waters of California. These cards will be perfect for Thank Yous, Birthdays or Just Thinking of You. Cards can then be stored in your card box for future use.

Tuesdays, May 10 & May 17 4 pm to 5:30 pm Peconic Lane Community Center

Materials Fee: $7 to be paid directly to instructor at first class Cost: $18/person

Studio Art for Tweens – Faux Stained Glass For Ages 9+ with Janet Douglass

Springtime School Break Project! Create a faux stained glass panel that looks very close to the real thing. Using acrylic paint, glue and a clear plastic panel, you can create a suncatcher to decorate your window. This project is easy as child’s play, but takes a bit of concentration, so we recommend it for serious crafters only. The finished piece will make a great gift – maybe Mother’s Day?

Wednesday – Friday April 20 – April 22 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm Southold Recreation Center

Cost: $25/residents $30/non-residents
