The Southold Town Recreation Department is pleased to announce that the East End Seaport Museum is sponsoring (1) One Lifeguard Training Scholarship to a qualified applicant.   Ensuring the safety of our residents is a top priority during the summer season.  In order to do this, the Town of Southold, local park districts and villages are always in need of certified lifeguards.  This is a wonderful opportunity for students and community members alike.  There are endless opportunities for summer employment on the North Fork for lifeguard, and this course unlocks those opportunities.  Additionally, lifeguarding is a great way to serve your community and build your resume all while enjoying a day at the beach.
