I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone! Those who are staying home and those who are able to step up and do what they can for our community.

When the COVID-19 crisis hit, it hit Southold hard. I knew this community would pull together and help each other out. No one had to be asked. They just went the extra mile from day one. From the Hospitals to the Fire Departments, the Civic Groups, the Lion Clubs, the Chambers, our Police Dept. and Dispatchers, many other essential Town employees to the delis and restaurants feeding the people on the front lines. I am very proud of all of you.

Also a special thanks to the Human Resources Center Karen McLaughlin and staff for distributing over 11,000 meals during this time.

Together, we will keep moving forward. We are one ~ United We Stand.

In Health & Continued Strength, Deputy Supervisor Jill Doherty and the entire Town Board
