Re: 2020 Budget Presentation - Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 7pm Location: Town Hall Meeting Room-53095 Main Road, Southold

The public is encouraged to attend an informational meeting with Supervisor Russell, the Southold Town Board and Town Comptroller Kristie Hansen-Hightower to learn about the proposed 2020 budget as well as the budgeting process. 

The presentation will focus on the content of the proposed budget, anticipated revenues and expenditures as well as the reason for the proposed 1.62% tax increase. 

While there will be a public hearings on the final budget on Wednesday, November 6th at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., this is an educational meeting to inform the public of how the budget is developed along with historical policies relating to the fund balance.
